After losing the lead in 2017, in the last stage of the race, and consequently failing to win the podium, this time the experienced Marcus Fernandes did not give a 'soup to chance' and, since leaving swimming, put a large advantage on the second place, the athlete Reinaldo Colluci (SESI / SP) and won with time of 01h50m40s, ahead of the runner-up who made 01h54m20s.

"This test is wonderful. I really enjoy running here with the support of the fans, the friends and the family. I made a strong preparation in Brasilia (DF) and knew that I could win. Thankfully, everything worked out and I managed to earn this important title for my career, "said Fernandes, the champion for the fourth time in the competition.

Already among the women, Beatriz Neres showed to be in excellent shape. Even leaving behind in the swimming, the santista settled in Brasília imposed an electrifying rhythm in the bike and the race, winning the test for the second consecutive time with the time of 02:06:46. "I felt very good all the way and tried to do my test. I managed to do the pedal very well and, in the race, managed the difference achieved. Now it's fun with the family and dedicate myself to a year that promises a lot for me, "reported Neres.

In second place was Fernandina Palma (Cyc Cyclist) with 02h14m34s, while the santista Fernanda Garcia (Aqua Sphere) came in third with 02h20m01s. For the organizer of the event and director of NA Sports, Núbio de Almeida, the competition traveled calmly and stressed the active participation of the athletes during all those years.

"After performing more than 400 triathlon events in Brazil, I continue with the same intensity and satisfaction in promoting these competitions. There are some generations of athletes who have passed through here and who continue to be born for the good of the sport.
